adapt myself ...

Sometimes we have to change, although we didn't want.
That's reality! We have to swallow things that we aren't used to, we must do things to which we aren't used to.
It is part of a relationship these small changes.  

We must adapt to each other! 

It's the ability to adapt that summarizes all the relationships. When relations are going well is because the two have adapted themselves, and that way they could live in consensus.  

I want to live in consensus!
I love you, and nothing will change, despite all the disagreements.
This is a feeling that nothing and no one can erase!
I'll feel it until the end of my days, I'll face whatever it takes to be with you!
And without really changing who I am, I'll adapt myself to you, to live happier!
